Rictus... formed back in Novmeber 2002. We started as as a twosome making songs that sounded so bad but we were young. The we found a bassist and started writing pop punk songs influenced by bands like New found glory etc.
We produced a 11 track album and played numerous gigs.
But know we have evolved into a band we love, which is so much better, we have changed styles over the past two years and now have found what we like playing best. Were more melodic emo punk nownow. We have just produced a new 11 track album which u can hear some song soff it on them the music page.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Weve played in a few local places. And also helped with the tsunami appeal in a birmingham gig and go over to worcester to play quite alot to the marrs bar.

Bands like My chemical romance and fall out boy mostly influence us. Also new found glory.
