Rick West was born in a small town in Maine. It seemed he was as far away from music as you can get. In his early teens, he started playing on an old guitar his grandmother bought him. She tought him the basics on how to play and sing. It wasn’t until later in life his love of music took him to the stage. Rick started playing publicly while serving in the Marine Corp. and when stationed in Japan he entered a competition, winning first runner up. With the support of family and friends, after returning to the states he played locally on weekends at nightclubs, keeping his love for music alive. Rick is now signed with KMA Records out of Nashville and his new self title album is being released.
