Rickie B. was born in Granada Hills California. He started rapping at a very young age, remixing songs and singing his own version of R&B classics. At age 9, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he met longtime friend Atiyyah (Wiggs) Tyler who helped Rickie B's thirst for music enhance by introducing him into the world of Hip-Hop & R&B. At age 11, Rickie B. moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, the place where he would venture off into the music world and build his own reputation and character. There, at age 16, he would meet Tiny G. Beats, who introduced him to FL Studio 9, and who would become the co-founder of the group known as "Etymology". From there Rickie B. began singing and debuted on AiM's mixtape entitled "JB'd and Stuffed" on the song "She's Gone". In October of 2010, Tiny G. and Rickie B. dropped their first single "Studio Lovin" which sky rocketed Rickie B. into being one of Vegas' hottest artists and through the soothing sound of his voice, he received the nickname Mr. Smooth. One year later, Rickie B. dropped his first solo mixtape entitled "The Entree" and through his own production and lyrics, it propelled him not only to be known as one of Las Vegas' best lyricists, but he is now know as one of Vegas' top producers and one of the most versatile artists in Nevada. Only 18 years old, his success has led him to opportunities with big name companies such as Interscope Records, and his faith in Christ is the reason his short career has ventured into realms that are impressive in musics eyes. The misjudgment of others and his increase in knowledge is what drives him to reach into greater heights in music and his hunger for respect is unmatchable. Don't be surprised if Rickie B. is the name that might, one day, be in control of the world of music and in the words of Rickie B. "You Know I Had To Do It To Em".
