That sometimes song is very pretty. Not that I'm as good at you recording but I think a cleaner tone with sustain would fit better. It's a mellow tune and the guitar sounds 'pissed off'.
You play with a lot of emotion. And I know how ward it is to convey that with a guit fiddle. Listen to BB king he makes his guit cry and still sound clean.
