Hey friend...This is fine songwriting. Love it. A fan of your vox, you´re a great singer. Solid vocal performance. My only comment is...production and arrangement....A different approach to the mix, instrumental setting and a bit of mumbo jumbo with the vocal track would make your VOX shine !!!! GOOD STUFF..RICHARD !!!

Really liked this Mr. Bethell. I was immediately caught by the plucking of the electric guitar I Love strings and the way you blend that acoustic into the lead is mesmerizing. Nice choice of keys to soften the bottom as well. I don't know if you where going for a live sound but because of the pop and boost in the lower frequency range of the lead vocal it sounds like a live performance. If you were not going for a live sound I'd roll off the bottom and pull the the vocal down back into the mix. Regardless, I have listened to this 4 times already...I enjoy the presence of your lead vocal as well (very Warm). I will reply in your post in the forum also to keep it up. Remember bro, about those ears, you were already healed by Jesus Christ stripes. Hi Richard...
I thought I'd vist your page and give you a listen...you have so much material here. I like this one a lot...it has that "Bruce Springsteen" blue collar feeling to it...as you sing about day to day life. The piano work is excellent (is that you?) ...and the vocals , as always, are outstanding. I love the background singers you recruited for this...they sound great! I can't believe that nobody else has commented on this track besides me....what the hell are they waiting for, anyway? I hope you're well, my friend.

P.S. It's been quite a long time since any of us did one of those Blues Forum Collabs...maybe we should think about possibly doing another one...they're always fun. I am just getting a new music computer set up with Pro Tools...so I should be available to something before the year is over....(just a thought)
