RFI

R.F.I. was a trio of very different musicians. An anarchist drummer, a alternative guitarist and a metal/blues bassist. These three guys blended every style of music they could think of into alternative sound all their own.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In 1990 Bassist Michael Bright, Drummer Craig Harris, Guitarist Jesse Vasquez, and vocalist Rad formed the band Versifire. Soon Rad was fired and replaced with a revolving door of singers to come and go over the next couple years. Fed up with "lead singers", Mike and Jesse decided they could do a much better job by sharing the position of lead singer. With that settled they could get down to really writing great music. By the time R.F.I. finally came to an end in 1999 they had writen over 200 original songs and played more than 300 shows.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
R.F.I. broke up in 1999 after 10 years of recording and playing live.
