'Cept, yah, we actually found what we were hunting for, and the Heretics are on national telvision preaching a 'new' Gospel...the good news of prosperity!
Oh, and they're pushing a 'new' Holy Spirit too - one that can be thrown around a large sports arena like a baseball!

Band/artist history
We gathered our little group together in 1999, mostly from the P&W group in our church. As we rehearsed and wrote material, things started changing; seems 'someone' didn't want the message - that everything ain't fine in the Body of Christ - to get out.
Members started falling away for various reasons. A few of the tunes here are writing demos that were finally resurrected after the band fell apart.

Nothing live, but then again, it's like that in a lot of congregations out there, no?
Your musical influences
Musically we come from the hard rock era of the late 60s and early to mid 70s. All of us were at one time or another, gigging in secular bands.
When we got 'the call' we answered it - God is our main 'influence' if you will.
Anything else?
What else is there to say except that these times were spoken of by the Master Himself. Men running after false Christs, false anointings, scripture being twisted to fit and justify personal weakness, mass marketing of half-truths and outright lies. Matt 24 was like a photograph of these times. It's really a shame because the glorious beauty that once was, has fallen under the darkness of necromancers, liars, heretics, conjurers, opportunists and extortionists.
But the greatest sadness we hold is the fact that many, many folk out there, our brethren, do not lift a finger to try and stop these insufferable hypocrits - these hand-waving, sly-talking hucksters, who rob widows, commit adultery and fornication and still smile their smug smiles to the cameras on Sunday mornings!
If it were not really happening, it would be almost funny - a parody, like a Hollywood parody, of modern Christianity.
And worse yet, are those who ask and pray for the Gifts of the Spirit, because when they do finally receive them, they doubt what the Holy Spirit Himself is showing and teaching them! They actually make excuses for their favorite preachers!
