ReV0LT
The band reV0LT is comprised of two musicians and friends, one who leans more towards the light, melodic synth side of Electronica SlipTrigger, now N, and the other closer to DNB, Breakbeat, Breakcore and IDM An8BitWarlock, now D. Together, they breed a new brand of IDM.
N: "Dude, what do I say? We do a bunch of weird shit. I don't really know how to explain us, because we both do different kinds of music. This is the result, though."
D: "ill fuck your goat with a stratosphere"
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
N: "I got into music 'cause of WL, way back. I wanted to own him, rofl. Everything just kinda' went from there, though we didn't start seriously doing music -together- until recently. We've both been doing solo shit for a couple of years now."
D:"i made alot of shit music, and then eventually i learned to sample drums now i rok YEAHH FYSGH SDGSG"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
N: "Dude, I couldn't get somebody to put me on a stage if I was paying them to let me paint it."
D: "not a chance :("
Your musical influences
N: "Honestly, I listen to more Japanese music than anything now, and have for quite a while. I can't say what's -influenced- me, because all kinds of music has moved me to a huge degree. But yeah, if it's any help, Jrock, Jpop. Gackt, HYDE, Miyavi, Takanori, Hide, etc."
D: "aphex twin, squarepusher, venetian snares, autechre, boards of canada, amon tobin, the flashbulb."
