Return to Whatever is founded in the summer of 2003. Ingmar Pauli & Jeff Aries, both bassplayers, like electronically fabricated (but analog) sounds. Both from The Hague (The Netherlands) they are surrounded by a lot of talented friends in all styles and genres: jazz, electro, techno, funk, reggae & rock (The Hague being Rockcapital nr 1. in Holland). So it's just plain logic that above-mentioned styles are part of the music of 'RTW'.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, but not together (yet). Ingmar being half of for instance: "Novamen", "Bumper" and "Matzo & Pauli" and Jeff being bassplayer of "Postmen" and half of "Ë-Hook and Dragon" makes it impossible to perform together at the moment.

MPC 2000 XL, MC 505, lots of FX: Boss digital delays, Roland Space-Echo, Ibanez Phasertone, various Mu-trons, Tandy Equalizero, Music Man Stingray '77 bassguitar, Nordlead-, Korg-, Yamaha-modules blabla, Juno 106, Casio CZ, G&L Precision '81 bassguitar, 5-string Pauil Ingram '92 guitar, we even use Zoom and Behringer, but we prefer old fx-pedals from the seventies...puppet:
