The Reptiles band was created in Moscow by Dmitry Zaytsev (Zoso) guitar, Svetlana Ljashkevich (Snake) vocal and Pavel Moskvin drums, in December 1998. Later in January 1999 Alexey Smirnov bass joined them. The composition of the band remains unchanged, and, to the great extent, it determines the sound excellent vocal supported by interesting guitar reefs and vivid rhythm-section. At first the band had played songs written to the music of Zoso, then after a while Snake started to write music as well. In the songs by the Reptiles the thirst of the musician for the beautiful and catchy tunes was realized, and that, together with the fondness for various styles of music (blues, rock, soul, jazz, funk, country etc) made the songs straight and original, without a single sign of eclecticism because of this, probably, the band can hardly be referred to a certain style all their songs can be referred to the Music in a whole. Almost, all the lyrics are written by Snake and, despite they are a reflection of her personality, they can easily find a ready response with the souls of the audience. It is very interesting to watch the reaction of people at quite rare club concerts there are moments, when, after the music dies, silence hangs in the hall, broken in a moment by s storm of applause the audience is stricken by the peculiarity of the show, they are listening very carefully, trying not to miss anything. A lot of them are surprised, they could hardly believe that is a live concert. Now Reptiles are recording their first album, there is a number of songs ready for the second one.

Of course,we play live. When we play our music it breaks walls and people's tears fall down:-) We play in some clubs and festivals.
