I go by Rello the Rockstar, Rello the Ruler or Rello Governor. Im from Cleveland, Oh. I'm trying to bring music thats fresh, fun, enjoyable and still street. I'm in a group named Y.F.D. and we perform and make our music in Cleveland.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Better known by his stage names, T.R or Rello Governor, he is an underground hip-hop artist. He is best known as a member of the group, Y.F.D. (Young Fresh to Death) who created the popular rap single, “Yes I’m Fresh”, recorded in 2007. Born in the slums of Cleveland, Ohio in January 1983, he began rapping at a very early age but didn’t take his talent seriously until late 2002. Since this time, he has joined with C-Dot Hunt, Young Ducko, and D.J. SuperTone to form Y.F.D. Together they proceeded to perform in shows at various clubs throughout the city including, Club Lucicc’s, Peabody’s, Champions, the Kamikaze, the Tunnel,Q Five, the Party Center and many other clubs. In 2007 YFD released the Y.F.D. Mixtape and performed in over 20 shows They are currently working on their second project, which is untitled. Its scheduled for release in early 2008. Rello also has a long awaited solo debut, which is still untitled and scheduled for release in the spring of 2008.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We can normally be found in Cleveland, Oh. at the Kinsman Square Party Center. Other than that, we find shows where we can get them.
