Rejected
four scores and thirty years ago we wern't around so who gives a shit.4 years ago we fell into a vat of molten lava and thus melted the concentrated anti-talents of what we now call ReJecTeD.To introduce ourselves as sepperate people would be a misdameanor as we are not really people:
Russ Tok plays drums, rides the bus and licks the windows for beter hall way vision.
bEn harrass who has the inability to spell or speak in long sentences spits down the mic
at prospective customers.
Milo plays a fat stringed guitar called sophia who in turn for sexual favours
sings her own version of danny boy for the allurment of bEN's custom.
ANdy Tumor wails on a log fashioned by the hand of a dwarf found as an unrespected extra in the
small cult film Willow.
b0y has also fashion out of an old broom handle,sticky-back plastic,an ice cream tub and
some elastic bands a 'futuristic box of music' (Arthur Pendragon-King)
To wrap it all up, we are fucking rejects.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Rejected formed in July 2000, when Andy and Russ formed the band just for a laugh. By September
Ben and Boy had also joined and Rejected became a group of like-minded people who wanted to wake
up the local scene as to what bening in a band is all about. Having fun....
Over the next two years Rejected played many a show, killed many a song and caused alot of fucking upset. Just as our fan base was forming so to was our hate club.
In 2003 Rejected record our first Ep. 'Play Your Mums House' which brought enjoyment of some success, a show a show with Skindred (ex-Dub War), interviews in local fanzines and on Total Rock Radio.
We carried on wading though shit shows, members leaving, members joining (always bassists :S)
Late 2003 Milo joined and the band at last felt like a whole. Our live shows got better and by June 2004 we were able to go back into the studio and record Torn Boundaries.
Now with the line up secure, a good Ep in the press and studio time booked for the next Ep
Rejected are ready to go out and cause the music world to realise what a real headache is...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have played many a show live in the 3 year we have been together. Its great we love it. Best yet has been playing with Marky Ramone + UK Subs as well as Skindred and Antiproduct.
