Red Meat marinate their warm and tangy twang with close gospel-influenced, male/female harmonies, textured fiddle tones, weeping pedal steel, tube-toned guitar picking, sweet mandolin chimes, an elastic rhythm section, and the occasional old-timey yodel. By the way, our rhythm picker, Ken Mottet is from Fairfield, IA. Do any of you Iowans know where Palmyra, MO? I've been in Chicago for 25 years, but I still call Palmyra home. My dad used to drive a truck for Ruan out of Ft. Madison. If the world gets any smaller, we're not gonna have anyplace to stand. :)
