Red Letter is an explosive Christian alternative rock band from Atlanta GA. We have just got off a tour called the Extreme Tour which was totally awsome!! We played with some great bands including Dizmas which is signing with Sparrow Records (same record company that signed POD), Kingsdown, and Unforsaken!! Well, guitarists Jeremy Daniels and Jonathan Kiningham met in spanish class in 2003 and started jamming, they soon acquired bassist Sam and the band has juggled drummers. I, Will Clark, was in a different band in competition with Red Letter. One day i talked to the guys and told them i was quitting my other band for certain reasons. They soon realized they wanted me in the band so BAM I was in it. We practiced together and learned that we all click very well as musicians. And thats how we came about RED LETTER! We have a 5 song CD that the band had recorded with the other drummer. We had almost finished our 15 song album with me but the hard drive crashed and now we have nothing. So keep on the lookout for our new CD.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live all the time. We have played at Atlanta Fest, all over the country with the Extreme Tour, Penny University, The Georgia Mountain Center, and The Jackson, Tennessee Christian Music Festival. We really enojy playing and we put on an awsome show! But we do have several special moments when our guitarist and our bassist have dropped their guitars trying to spin them around their neck! That usually goes well but not on these occasions!!
Your musical influences
Our music style is a mix between Thrice, Blindside, and Chevelle. We play mostly hard alternative rock with a tiny punk influnce which gives a good variety.What equipment do you use?
Guitarist: Fender Stratocaster and Schecter Diamond Series. 2 Peavy Cabs with 4 12" with Rhino heads
Bassist: Ibanez SR405 Soundgear 5-String Bass. Peavy Cab with 2 15" with Peavy head
Drummer: 5 piece Pearl Export drums with iron cobra double bass pedal and 6 cymbols mixed Sabian and Zildjian.
