Red Herring
It's basically me playing saxophone and keyboards in a few tunes that I've composed myself. Just a laugh really, I don't have ambitions to be a pro musician or anything.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Playing live is really a great experience. I've done lots of concerts with my band (not technially MY band, just one in which I play) and they've all been really good. It's always fantastic when we have guest players too, like Alan Barnes, Bobby Wellins and Bruce Adams.
Your musical influences
Just all the great jazz players of past and present. From John Coltrane to Courtney Pine, I enjoy listening to all types of jazz and think that this is affecting my playing in a positive way.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha Tenor Saxophone
Yamaha PSR-280 Keyboard
and to record I use a Belkin microphone which attaches to an iPod mp3 player.
Anything else?
