Band/artist history
Red Crisis is the name for the UK based industrial-goth-rock artist and his music.
Red Crisis first got intrested in performing music through sound editing bits and pieces of cartoons together with a friend at the age of 13.
Through a range of different bands, from the sublime to the highly successful, Red Crisis gathered together a wide range of musical expertise in guitar, bass and drums and even a little piano. His biggest achievement to date was as part of a band known as Spiderhead, which gained the opportunity through a local council grant to tour the south of France. Cue excessive drinking, great music and even greater memories.
Experience of difficulties within the music industry came with his involvement with Electroharmonics, a dance metal band which was offered a record contract. Fortunately, through guidance of a friend, the still young musician realised the exploitation within the contract and backed out before it was too late...
But now, older and wiser, Red Crisis is back making his own special brand of industrial-goth-experimental-rock music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Used to play in alot of live bands, but now records Solo at home.
Would play live using session musicians for a particular gig.
Special moments..? Has to be a touring memory i have from an old band.. Sun setting in the distance over the sea, whilst playing live, open air at a beach in southern France to a large crowd.

Good stuff. Looks like I'm not the only one with a song called Equinox. I added "Don't Ever Let Me Go" to my Ted Zepplin station. Keep up the good work. Ted
Hey I love your song Equinox, it's killer. With or without lyrics. I think it sounds really cool without actually! Adding it to my station.

Hey: Thanks for you kind comments about "Plays of the Heart," for which I sang lead, and "Wicca Woman," which I did some vocals on. That was an enjoyable effort as other band members collaborated with us in writing that.
I liked equinox and I LOVE the intoduction
to Emperor! May I make a suggestion?
Being a boomer, I try to keep in touch, so I hope this won't sound cheezy, but here goes: Instead of singing the vocals on some of these, suppose you whispered them loudly, in kind of a menacing way, and hung some reverb on it? You know, kind of like some over-the-top fantasy movie heavy, who won't raise his voice merely to humor pathetic stupid mortals? I think it would add to your whole 'Something-out-there-wants-to-get-us' theme.
Anyway, it's always nice to get compliments, but it's even more validating to hear them from someone
who works in a different genre, so thanks
for making my day! =)

Lead vocals and (hopefully improving)flute,
Aleen Luann,
Yup, (im currently advertising for a Fem vocalist in my area) - so untill then, im all ive got to sing ;)
Im thinking a Fem voice would lift out of the music more than my voice could - improving the enjoyment of the songs
Ty for your post - il keep you updated about the new vocalist, and hopefully you can let me know what you think of it' when i get around to re-recording with a Fem voice :D
