Red Ash and the Love Commandos
A pure E number overdose of a band. Red Ash and the Love Commandos are the foxiest thing since Robin Hood [Walt Disney version].
Red Ash are simply cute and funky!
They describe their music as a kind of dancy-funky-indie guitar groove influence. I have an other word for it. MAGIC!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Once whilst taking a break from a long mixing session, I said I was going out to buy some 'catfood', someone else asked for some 'coke'. We had a visitor in the studio, who knew little of the rock'n'roll lifestyle other than what he'd read in the press. He presumed that 'catfood' was a code word of some illegal substance, and when some one else asked for coke, well that just confirmed it. "Chris can I get you anything I asked?" "No I'm fine" came a rather shaky reply, [Chris was looking quite worried at this point, and we all thought what's his problem].
You should have seen the look on his face when I returned with a tin of Whisker's Tuna Catfood and a can of Coke-a-cola!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I like to play up anywhere.
Describe your sound. A sex noise, or was that a sex nose.
Where can people come and see you play? I'm not allowed out the house these days.
