Recycled Souls
THE RECYCLED SOULS ANNOUNCEMENT
In October of 2000, Recycled Souls was born, and with it, I was given a vision to put together a band that would do great things for God. But what, by definition, is a great thing? Would it be selling millions of records and multiple world tours? It can bebut I also think that its going out and making a mark with the tools and gifts that Hes given you. That mark may be a single life changed for Jesusthat, to me, is a great thing. Jesus Christ was, is, and will always be the primary focus of what Recycled Souls stands for, a no compromise message. Its amazing to look back and even listen to what we sounded like at first, to where we are now. Songs like Sleepwalker and Praise song with hints of Third Day. Being chosen as an alternate for the New Band Tournament with that sound our first year as a bandand in a sea of metal, win convincingly in the 1st roundwe were so shocked! And now Sleeping Underwater, Trying to Cope, So Tragic, and You Cant Bring Me Downstraight up metal, what a progression.. God called us to reach out to a hurting world.so we did and we do.
Literally hundreds of shows across 9 states, festivals and small arenas alike, airplay in most of those states, radio interviews, tv appearances, literally a worldwide fan base and fan club, The Recycling Crew. Getting to open for many of the biggest names in the music industry, making friends, fans, and loyal supportersbut most importantly.we saw lives changed for the kingdom of God. I couldnt begin to tell you all the stories of salvations, rededications, and praise reports that we have seen on 4 tours. Thats what its all about right there.lives being changed for Jesus Christ.
Through this amazing run, we have come to one conclusion. ALWAYS do as God calls you to do. Which means.it is time for Recycled Souls to say goodbye. Our time is finished.
We cannot begin to thank the many people who have loved this band, prayed for us, supported us, and stood by us through member changes and every single thing that we have ever done. From the sea of Recycled Souls shirts at the Disciple show at the Edge.shouting the words to Immortal and Depthand thats just but one of thousands upon thousands of memories we share. You know it blows you away when one of our heroes.Kevin from Disciple comes up to you and says.Manyou guys have some crazy devoted fans!
Thank you so much for buying the cdsvoting for us on Tulsa Trax, coming out to the shows, and for allowing us to do what we love. You guys are simply the best. Thank you to the Kross, for all of their support, and the many bands that we were so honored and blessed to share the stages with and to the many bands that not only played with us, but we forged friendships in Christ with. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts.
I personally want to thank the current and former members of Recycled Souls. You all are my brothers and best of friends. I love you like my family. Thank you for making memorable music that meant something and for sharing in Gods vision for RS.

We are also releasing Darkest Hour todayour new cdas our way of saying goodbye. It is available now for just $5 and that gets you 7 songs. Contact me for details at: eddie@recycledsouls.com Its our best cd yet.you wont want to miss it. And I have a few surprises for all of the hardcore RS fans out there in the very near future.
We are laying it down, not begrudgingly, not because we hate each other or are even mad at each otherbut we are and will continue to be the best of friends. We also believe that you should retire something gracefully, and God has released us to retire Recycled Souls gracefully. We are so pleased with the mark that will be left behind and through Him, we accomplished a lot for 4 guys from Tulsa. Heavens population was increased due to us remaining obedient and proclaiming the name of Jesus, and that is what ultimately matters the most.
We love you and thank you again for letting us rock out with all of you, for Jesus, for 6 years. We pray that you remember 2 things when you think of Recycled Souls: That first and foremost we loved and served God with all of our hearts, we really walked the talkand that we rocked your faces off!!!!
Be blessed hardcore!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sincerely in Christ,
Recycled Souls

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are currently on a 5 month regional tour. So far it would be really tough to say exactly where our favorite place has been, all of the venues and fans have been outstanding to us and we thank them so much for having us. Playing live is it for us, it's where the magic is. To see someone's life affected by what you do, to seem them look at things differently and knowing that you've made an impact on them, that's where it's at. Special moments....too many to list, but when someone gives their life to Christ, that is the ultimate!
