Built on a foundation of aggressively de-tuned riffage inter-woven with dark, atmospheric keys, soul piercing guitar solo's and rafter shaking bass and drums, Re-birth's music "shakes the house and terrifies tropical fish"!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band began to coalesce in Autumn 2001 and was
finally born in December with the discovery of a
drummer and the name Re-birth.
Song writing began immediately, and the band's
debut gig followed in February 2002. By April they
were ready to record, with 'Born of Ashes' a four
track professionally produced demo released two
weeks later to much local acclaim.
Gigging throughout Essex continues, with the fan
base expanding rapidly. September 2003 saw release of second demo 'Torn from Shadow' and beginnings of serious label interest.
