REBEL NATION was created in early 2001. After listening to what was playing on the radio at the time and comparing our freestyle "playaround songs" to what we were hearing, our thoughts went from playing to working. Forming a multi-talented collective group of artist to offset the norm and give reason back into this Hip-Hop game and ghetto life. Your musical influences
Everything. From the Indian flutes to Rock to Tango music to Reggae, Chinese guitars. But what influences us the most obviously is Hip/Hop & R&B. We are a blend of individuals that come from old school and new so the blending is a perfect blend of the greats like Marvin & Aretha to Big Daddy Kane & KRS-1 and Dr. Dre to the likes of Mary J. & Smokey or better yet Rick James and Tina Marie. Then some more greats like Nas and EPMD, Tupac & Biggie, and just a whole range of Musical talents the paved the way for people like us.Anything else?
