Joe Ortiz Jr aka Mythbeatz, was born in Holland, MI - Dec/24/1987 and has been involved in the music industry locally starting in 2003 as a producer for (Side House Recordz) a label he and his brother created while teenagers. Music has been in Mythbeatz family for generations. His fathers side had a successful family band known as the (Suave Band) this was the influence Mythbeatz and his brother Murda Mic needed. Mythbeatz Is what some people call a one man shop. He went to school for graphic design, and started his company (Mythgrafix) also study's videography and is also known as (Mythfilmz). Mythbeatz has a unique sound he considers him self more then just a producer, he see's himself to be a true artist and musician. Self taught to play the piano when he was 16 years old. Production did not come easy at first, it took him 6 years to perfect a original sound he now calls Spaceshik, its (Future Music), he still loves to learn new techniques and listen to new sounds especially his favorite producers, (Madlib, and J Dilla). Mythbeatz now produces for a select group of artist and enjoys working with new talent and expects to keep making music the rest of his life.
