Reactive Black
REACTIVE BLACK are Sassy Skeleton (lyrics and vocals) and Rotten (programming, all instruments and lyrics too).
The band was founded in late 2005.
It was important for us to find a place in a band/ project where to combine an experimental way of
playing and writing songs in connection with our personal stories/life experiences.
The dark sides of human beings should be represented and be expressed by our music. Our
definition of darkness combined with negativ evil is not from a romantic point of view
because this would be too simple and superficial.
ItÂs more like a figurehead to represent themes like pain, repression, depression, sadness, (auto)
agression, misunderstanding etc. ItÂs about the lost and almost hidden sides or aspects of
individual persons.
Often people doesnÂt want to see the problems or occupy with conflicts or
tabus in the society.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We both played in several bands before Reactive Black.
We have been very unsatisfied with our former music projects, because of too many compromises
we had to take It was important for us to find a place in
a band/project where to combine an experimental way of playing and writing songs in connection to
our personal stories/life experiences. So, we made it....
...with success and by the little help of the demon....;-)...
At this point many thanks to Schroedey for helping us to get through....
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

We are building up a live lineup...so, if you are still black enough, feel free to contact us ;-) ....we
are searching a drummer, keyboarder and guitarist, you could be the one....
Your musical influences
Well this is very hard to say....The most important bands to us were surely, Type o Negative,
Tiamat, The Doors, Danzig, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Joy Divion, Siouxie and the Banshees, Anne Clark, The Cult, but also Slayer, Cathedral, Paradise Lost, Anathema, Moonspell...and not least
everyone who inspires and influences us in any way, whatever.

everything, that is really needful to find our sound....
