Razorblade Redeemer
Razorblade Redeemer is a band that I would like to see mix Techno/dance beats into a dark gothic, sound, with raunchy guitar and violent noise.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I originally started in a feeble project down in Virginia, which we scrapped when I had to relocate to New Jersey. I then founded Dystopian with Needles Resendez (as he calls himself), but was later kicked out due to management difficulties. I have been offered several times to rejoin the band by their guitarist and cofounder, though have yet to agree because honestly, their music has turned from what it originally was and I don't care for it; not to mention the lineup doesn't impress me all that much. I went on to found this band, Razorblade Redeemer, which I wanted to give a very dark and disturbing tone to....and something you can dance to. The music as of now is simple and shoddy, but I'm also somewhat shot for equipment, so bare with me a bit.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Eventually, my intent is to play live, and transpose a lot of the sound to live instruments.
Your musical influences
Razed In Black, Nine Inch Nails, Velvet Acid Christ, Cruxshadows; I'd like to throw in something like Pink Floyd, but maybe that's a little too ambitious. We'll see.
