This isn't a band. I'm one guy who makes music. I record the guitar on my effects board and make drum beats on my computer. Maybe someday I'll get other members, but for now it's just me. I also enjoy writing for other people. If you hear something you like email me, onemanarmi@hotmail.com
Band/artist history
Well, I guess my first real interest in music started when I was in grade 5(1997). Someone had brought in Our Lady Peace's clumsy cd. Somebody turned it right to the title track and I was hooked. From then on I wanted to be in a band. I always wanted to be a singer but I eventually accepted the fact that I can't sing so I started to learn how to play guitar(1999). I didn't own one but I would play my friends guitars when I was at their places. In 2002 my brother got an electric guitar. So I got to practice on it sometimes, but more importantly he got a guitar tuner. This whole time my dad had an acoustic guitar but he used a weird tuning for it so I could never play the songs I wanted to on it, but now I could tune it and use his guitar to practice. I learned how to read tabs and I started playing other peoples songs like "Superman's Dead" by OLP and "When in Doubt" by TFK among other songs that I was into (I was horrible when I started I didn't know that the top line on a tab represented the bottom string on the guitar. Even though it sounded horrible, at the time I was convinced that I was playing it right.) Anyways, eventually I started making my own stuff which was pretty simple. At Christmas 2002 my parents got me an acoustic guitar. This was the first time in ten years that I didn't know what I was getting. It was a total surprise. This is when I got serious about playing guitar. I started making alot of my own songs. I even recorded one of them on my brothers effects board. (It's called (Two Paths) One Destination. You can hear it on the music section of this page. I plan on re-recording it though, with a new verse.) I got an electric guitar for my graduation gift in 2004 and in February of 2005 I bought myself a GNX 3 effects processor. I got right down to recording my songs and so far I have 20 recorded. I have many more ideas I just need time to record them. I hope to one day have a band or write music for other people.
