RAYZD is the new name of a band formerly called G-Clef and da Houndz, which was the hip-hop pop oriented Phoenix that rose from the ashes of the Neo Swing Movement of the turn of the milennium! But trust us you never heard a band like this before.... we are 100% original, combining real musical skills with real rhymes, lyrics, and beats to form the most exciting new movement in music on this planet!

This incarnation is new, but our wisdom, strength, and beauty date back to the dawn of civilizations.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we have played live together for a few years now under a different name.... once this premier album is released, we will be again accepting shows at colleges, clubs, and concerts.
Your musical influences
As the writer and producer, myself G-Clef, will say we are influenced a fair amount by Ellington, Radiohead, Portishead, Wu-Tang Clan, Sun Ra, Evanescence, Carpenters, Rakim, Kool Keith,Yoko Kanno, and many other luminaries of earth. However, do not expect us to sound like any of them...
