Hello world.I am Rawdawg,Producer/rapper/writer/composer.I have been doing this off and on for about 6-7 years.Really don't have the resources or equipment to do what i want with my music,but I do a damn good job with what I have.I reside in the great and mighty BUCKEYE CITY!That's Columbus,Ohio for all who don't know.Where have YOU been man!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Collabo's with Kadiz(The heart of the city)and you better beleive that!,3,Shelby,Ruff Rugged,Golden Child,Da Underboss,Blitz,Lay-Low. Have done shows in Columbus,Cincinnatti,Marion. C.E.O. of a local record company & publishing company.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes I've done live shows in various cities of OHIO,mainly here in da Bus though.I like performing,but I'm a producer first and foremost.That's what I'm concentrating on mostly now,but I will be doin' show here again real soon.Hopefully before the year is out.
Your musical influences
My biggest influence for making beats is life.I have a special talent that allows me to put my emotions into music form.Other influences include:Dr.Dre,D.J.Premiere,Jermaine Dupree,R.Z.A.,D.J.Magic Mike,Rick Rock,Timbaland,Pharrell Williams,Rich Harrison,Brian Cox,Eric B.,My man Kadiz cause he is THE best writer/rapper I have EVER heard and soon you will say the same,and ALL of the beautiful women that GOD has been so kind to grace our presence with.
What equipment do you use?
FL6 PE,,MPC 1000,Technic1200,Alesis S4 sound module,Roland D-20 keyboard,and soon Cubase LE.
