I'm "Raven Blayde", a "solo artist" living in Frankfort, Ky. I've spent more than 20 years playing heavy metal guitar. In 2006, I began learning about recording, mixing and mastering. I released my first instrumental cd "On Black Wings" in 2007. Being new at it, the production wasn't all that great, but it was a good start none the less. A lot of people enjoyed the first album and I began getting requests to give vocals a try in my 2nd release. I did just that in my 2011 release "When Darkness Falls". To be honest, I really didn't enjoy doing the vocals very much (it's just not my thing). I decided to go back to the instrumental music that I started with in my latest release "The Dark Hollow". There are 2 songs on the cd that include vocals, but for the most part, it's instrumentals.Have you performed in front of an audience?No. I have no plans for playing live in the future. I would be happy making instrumental music for movies.
