In the year 2008.....change has resonated as the leading force taking the world over from the reigns of mediocrity and lameness. From global warming, to sky-rocketing gas prices, to the possibilty of America electing its first black president, to the resurrection of hip hop music in its purest form in the nation's capital Washington, DC. Rasi Caprice emerges as the true savior and the '1st Rap President' after being recognized as the top finalist by Musician's Atlas Guide/ Independent Music Awards for Independent Album of The Year. With a lengthy resume of exclusives through his underground mixtape volumes and guest features with some of the top names in the rap game like Yukmouth, T-Pain, KRS-1 and fellow DC artist Wale along with his dynamic stage perfomances opening for major acts such as Lil Jon, Ray Cash, Rick Ross and Lil Flip to name a few. Being compared to elite artists and lyricists such as Jay Z, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Ludacris, Lil Wayne and Scarface.....Rasi Caprice is the more promising prospect for the future of the culture. After touring in Houston after the release of his Htown 2 DC project featuring DJ P Cutta he returns back to his hometown in Washington with his latest classic entitled 'Semper Fly'...Caprice combines his versatility from his past as a US Marine to his time spent as a player prodigy traveling with Archbishop Don "Magic" Juan and the cast of the Hughes Brothers "American Pimp" creating a phenomenal piece of hip hop history putting Washington, DC not only on the map but at the top! You should be commended for coming up with clean lyrics that describe the State of Washington, DC, the last plantation. Congress should be ashamed of leaving 1/2 million DC residents, with no voting Senators or House Representatives in Congress. The only residents paying Federal Taxes without a voice in Congress. Thanks Lonnie for taking time to bring this message to the public. STATEHOOD FOR DC IS THE ONLY WAY TO CORRECT THIS ATROCITY, NOT ONE VOTE(VOTING RIGHTS).
