I'm not cocky,just convinced",says Rashad Street(Marcus Battle),of his skills. The 22 year old rapper/producer was born and raised in Jackson,Mississippi. He found his lyrical abilities at the age of 9. He grew up listening to artists ranging from L.L. Cool J. to Prince. " I listen to music with substance", says Street. With his love for music, he quickly started producing at 16. He began his music career with the rap group Misfit Squad. After two albums, the group disbanded. Now with his first solo effort, he hopes to revamp the music scene."I won't stop grindin' til' they bury me and I'll still be here."
