Rashade

It's ya boy Rashade a.k.a. Young Shade a.k.a. Shade and it's been a while and I'm back with another album as well as a mixtape. Both are coming real soon so be on the look out for those and stay tuned for new music as well as a few more suprises.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well started out as a duo known as Lyricist and Rashade back in 2002 and came out with a CD entitle "2 Keyboards & A Beat Box". Don't get it twisted though, me and Lyricist are still tight we just can't really vibe and record like we used too because of our locations. Put a CD out in 2004 Called "I'm Here" which was my first solo LP. Now I'm currently working had as a producer for some R&B singers, up and coming hip hop groups, and some hot new artists as well (I don't believe in name dropping but you will here from them real soon). Now that I have perfected my craft and stepped my game up, it is time for the next solos CD as well as a milestone in Hip Hop with my new group.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah, I've done a couple of shows locally around the triangle. I love it!!! Can't wait to do it again cuz there is nothing like it.
Your musical influences
Producer wise, I love a beat that can tell a story. The only ones I really hear doing that today is Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, 9th Wonder, and Kanye West. I also respect the works of The Neptunes, The Runners, Wyclef Jean, and Cool and Dre. Lyrically wise, I love Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Common, T.I., Kanye West, Juelz Santana, I mean the list can go on. I love real music not what some of these people are calling music today (you know who you are).
What equipment do you use?
IBM Laptop WD External Hard Drive Kenwood Stereo Sony Headphones Samson Condensor Microphone M-Audio Interface
Anything else?
People please recognize real music. I'm really disappointed with the direction music is going today with these crazy dances and artists having nothing to say. For those of you trying new things but keeping the musical and lyrical aspect to your style, much love and respect. Hip Hop is not dead but is becoming a rare breed.
