The Style of the in Stuttgart based Ras Clan has developed from strictly Roots-Reggae and Dancehall to an unique and original RasClan-Style which covers a large variety of flavours.
The two brothers and creative heads of the clan Azuka "King Zooka" and Wolfgang "Amadeus" are not only inspired by contemporary black music but also by their African roots ( Nigeria ).
It was in their childhood that they discovered their love for music by playing instruments then by composing beats and eventually by singing/toasting and songwriting.
Beside their home studio productions they gained their musical experience during a six-month stay in Jamaica
working with top reggae producer Phillip "Fattis" Burell who has brought up reggae-giants like Sizzla, Luciano and Turbulence. So it was at that time (2001/2002) that the boom tune "turn it up" (featuring Turbulence) was recorded in the Anchor Studios Kingston and played in Jamaica's most popular radiostation Irie FM.
In 2004 the self produced and published EP "No Problem" was released containing 7 blazing tracks. Other members of the Ras Clan appearing on live shows are DJ Kännicht and the ghanean rapper "Lord Spy".
RasClan proved their performing abilities at various performances (i.e. Zapata Stuttgart, Abenteuer Sport Messe Stgt., Summerjam Köln, Space Place Frankfurt and so on.)and at their own parties (i.e. No Problem Nights Landespavillon Stgt.).
