Rapsearch Records was created in 2003 as an affliate of the Rapsearch.com network. It serves as a direct connection between the Rapsearch members and the general public.

Rapsearch.com (RS) has been online since the summer of 1999. RS started out as a HipHop search engine combined with links on the mainpage. The site grew fast and RS made a name for itself. In December of 1999, RS in cooperation with Sani (the webmaster of Planetrap.net) started its own HipHop board called HipHopHangout (HHH). As the site flourished HipHopHangout became the addition RS was looking for.
In 2001 HHH separated from Planetrap. Both sites went their own way, and HHH became a seperate site. Later, HHH developed into madmusic.net. Although madmusic was a good idea, due to various reasons the site did not succeed. By 2002, Rapsearch had returned to its roots and started a board directly connected to the Rapsearch.com site.
