why does everyone think this music is so good? Days Red is awful! if i was john i'd feel insulted that he inspired songs like this. come on people, you know what good music is, you listen to john frusciante!
the singing is weak and flat, the tune is uninteresting, it's not a good recording and it sounds like you've tried to nick his sound but of course got no way near..

I really like sweet lullaby, its a great tune. Nice to see such a variety of different songs, but by artists who have the same taste in music. Keep on creating, nothing negative can be said about doing that!

j.f. fans and bands, why must one hate on a tribute album to an inspiration to a man that has changed many.well any way my input on all the songs were different styles but the songs that stood out to me were peel out and sweet lullaby i believe by a group called nezvera the instruments were very pleasing to the ear especially the guitar player.i know it comes from the heart and soul from the determination of the lyrics and melody thats what mucic is about the testement of releasing ones soul to the love of music.i know john will appreciate it.guys keep doin what ur doin making good music its not so far away.

life is sinful - meditative chanting quality to this one
peel out - felt like this needed a change in theme to go with the change in volume/instrumentation. Like the instrumental ending
subvana - is that a word - like a state of being somewhere short of nirvana? Like the feel of the instruments on this one. Pleasant melody that seeps into your subconscious

I'm not sure why u got peeps trashing ur sh*** cuz it sounds good. maybe ur not conforming to the same ol verse-chorus-bridge-repeat standards of music, but it sounds good to me...keep doing what u love and only let the naysayers add fuel to the fire

ok, i thought we were commenting on specific songs, i was talking about the red door song specifically.
other songs on here i (personally) feel arent enough for frusciante. whos organizing this? just out of curiosity, are these 21 songs the final songs to be on the album? where can i find this info?

um, i dont want to be rude, but this isnt very worthy of giving to frusciante. hes such a beautiful musician, this is almost an insult to him, like mocking his "smile" time period. i dont know how i feel about this song being on the tribute album. actually i do. i feel bad.

I enjoyed the song and i think John would too, but if he ever reads your comments i think he would be more offended by your trashing of another artist not the music.

you offend john with this song, "completely meaningless" is exactly the opposite of what john writes his songs.
learn music and stop strumming chords until you learn tension and release.
there is no such thing as a Bb-5 , if u knew anything about music u know the 5th is included in the chord unless its diminished.

hahah wow, i dont think ive seen anything on this page on this messageboard. what a nice project it was, until it got hijacked from myself and all other RHCP fans got pissed off because John said he might listen to it. Well it was really fun in the beginning when it was just a thread on a messageboard and a buunch of us contributing musical ideas and having fun.
