Raining Confusion

http://www.rainingconfusion.com Raining Confusion is a four piece emo/acoustics band out of Lethbridge, Alberta. The Band technically formed as an acoustic side project to a band called Defpotec. On Evan Morgan's 16th birthday, his friends threw together $200 and bought him an acoustic guitar. The songs he wrote on the acoustic were separated from those he was writing for Defpotec, and performed as a solo acoustic act between sets at the Defpotec shows. The great response to these songs encouraged Evan to join up with his best friend Noel Broughton, to add another layer to the songs he was writing. Connecting deeply with the songs he and Noel were writing, Evan left Defpotec, and the side project became the only project. For about a year Noel and Evan played around Southern Alberta, and are currently organizing their tour for this summer 2004. Raining Confusion, that song was later renamed Walls of Glass, and appears as the first song on the new album. After that time, Evan approached the drummer from his old band Defpotec, Patrick Davies, and asked if he would be interested in joining the group. Pats musical talents added a dimension to the band that Evan never thought possible. When good friend Scott Mezei joined the group as a bassist, the band was complete and ready to go into the studio. Picking through all the material Evan had written, the band chose what they believed to be the 12 best songs to appear on the album. When Scott left the band, they picked up bassist Philip Ney. His musical talent on the bass and voice have totally added a new style to their live show that is unbelievable!
