Hailed for his exciting keyboard techniques, as well as his melodic compositions, Rabih is well respected among many fellow musicians from all around the globe.
Two of his compostions(The Flow and Life Story) hit the N' 1 spot on the internet jazz charts in 2006 on Soundclick.com! Many others of Rabih's compositions are still way up on the jazz-fusion charts.
Rabih's influences LITERALLY crosses all genres of music, from Bach to Nirvana... but most significantly, he is influenced by Chick Corea and Aziza Mustafa Zadeh.
Born and raised in Lebanon he started classical piano at the age of 6, he then moved to the USA in 1999 and attended Berklee College of Music, where he improved his skills in Jazz composition and discovered the world of electronic music.
Rabih had the pleasure to record musical projects with some of today's most exciting and well known jazz musicians, such as Martin Valihora(drummer for Hiromi), Gilad Ronin (Saxophonist for Herbie Hancock), Franco Pinna (New york based session Jazz Drummer) and many more.... He has also played with various forming Fusion and Blues bands around Boston and Philly. His latest live project was "The Dream Will Come", a trio that performs all his compositions. The Dream Will Come played all over Philly and the suburbs and had a very welcoming following by the jazz music scene in Philly.
Rabih is currently working on his new LP "Ace of swords" which promises to add a new dimension to his compositions.
Rabih's music will take you on sensational journey where elegance, passion, resiliency, sounds, colors, ideas and emotions all blend as one....
Enjoy your experience.Have you performed in front of an audience?I'm currently working on my next album "Ace of swords", which i am VERY excited about...
Your musical influences
My influences are : chick corea, aziza mustafa zadeh, joe satiriani, david gilmour.....and the list can really go a long way....
Pretty much, anything could inspire me, whether it's music or not.
It could be a person, a poem, a painting, a scene of a sunset, a starry summer night....etc...
Beside being a jazz musician and a keyboardist, over the years and growing up, i always had (and still do) this great admiration and passion for heavy metal, guitar gods, rock'n'roll in general and blues.....i'm a huge fan!
The FUSION of all my influences and inspirations comes to life in my songs.
All those factors FUSE together to give birth to what you can call: My own sound....frankaxtell's station
