qu beat
I think we are a .net band. Since we split living in different towns we started composing individually sending the recorded parts thru ftp each one to each other. When all stuff is ready, we choose one of town we live in as party place and meet together to play, then each one of us does different editing of the entire recorded song. We never publish anything of our last 3 years work. This way pulled up to mix traditional instruments as guitar, piano, bass guitar, etc. with samples and more electronic instruments.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We start playing together in the last '70's, when we were at high school (liceo in Italy) thru many numbers of bands, names and different people involved; someone left someone stays someone sometimes returns someone never. It makes part of our quantic nature.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Never. We stop playing live early in the '90's.
Your musical influences
I guess all the pop/rock music we listened in the '80's. We loved blues and rock music, over all from the USA but we started soon playing what we call our music out of any influence. All sounds and rumors we listen, we like it or not, finds a place in what we play.
What equipment do you use?
Claude an old Ibanez NT 100, an anonymous folk guitar, the Korg legacy (i have played the hard versions during the '80's), and many Apple stuffs; Go plays a treated Fender Jazz Bass, ever dreaming the Warwick; Mimmi records samples and treats all drums thru The Mac, Miki plays the drum he find where we play, Elsa uses her voice when we can capture her; etc.
