Quarantine is a three piece band with its roots grounded in Western Pennsylvania. We combine sounds of different genres and take influence from many types of metal music (thrash, black, death, and progressive - primarily).Band/artist history
In September of 2005, the metal band Quarantine (originally named Autumn Sky) was formed by Dan Bullman and Seth Hartle. Soon after, Shayne Boyd joined in on the action and rounded off the "original lineup". The fledgling days of Quarantine were filled with cancelled practices and lack of progress. It took several months for the band to finally develop a decent schedule of practice. Unfortunately, this didn't last long and the band didn't find more activity until the summer of 2006. At this time a rough (and rather incomplete) demo of "Battalion" was recorded. Since then, many other songs have been recorded. Two of those songs have been posted here, on myspace, and on purevolume.
Now we are working on the recording sessions for a demo CD, which should surface by March or April (hopefully). Until then, we'll just keep practicing, recording, writing, etc.Your musical influences
