Quadrasonic

Quadrasonic is a band from Manila, Philippines consisting of 4 individuals with varied musical influences considering pop as their common denominator. Their music is a smorgasbord of musical genres that goes beyond the borderlines of pop. The band plays original compositions using catchy tunes and mass appeal together with sensible lyrics as the main ingredients of their music. Aiming to showcase their sound and let the people experience their music, Quadrasonic decided to record their compositions and independently-produced a 7-track demo some of which can be downloaded in this website.

Quadrasonic was formed early 2005 in a band rehearsal studio in Pasig City (Manila, Philippines) called Astig!. The studio is owned by Ian Mendiola and Baldo Pesigan. Ian and Baldo were members of a band called Glitterfields. Glitterfields was disbanded late 2003 when their guitarist and drummer left the band to concentrate on their chosen careers. Ian and Baldo decided to continue and pursue their musical aspirations and recruited Mark (Davis) and Jeff (Naval) to fill in the vacant positions.

New Wave / Alternative. The band considers foreign groups like Beatles, Oasis, Lemonheads, Ash, Cure, China Crisis and Philippine local acts like The Dawn, Eraserheads, Rizal Underground, Itchyworms, Sugarfree, Orange and Lemons as their influence.
