Qohelet
Currently, the songs that I have here are A Cappella songs that I performed with folks when I was in college back in the mid 1980's. Many people enjoyed the recording we made at the East Hill Church building, and several have told me they have worn their tapes out. I stumbled across some old recordings and have posted them here. It brings back some memories, that's for sure.
The voices on these songs include:
Larry Anderson, Bass
David Boggs, Bass and lead
Larry Christison, Bass and tenor
Randy Foncree, High tenor and lead
Charles Gardener, Bass and lead
Rodney Moffatt, Low Tenor
John Telgren, Tenor, High Tenor and lead
Chuck Cantrell, Low tenor, bass, lead
Scott Cate, BassBand/artist history
The Men's Ensemble was an extension of the York College A Cappella Chorus. In 1985-1986, we decided to extend the Ensemble, and we began to do performances on our own for various events. We became known simply as "Men's E" for short.Your musical influences
As a young teen, my Dad enrolled me in the Foundation School of Music, which in those days consisted of two weeks of intense instruction in a camp setting at Hensel Camp, near Jonestown, Texas. I learned to read shaped notes and write music after three years of attending the school. Holland Boring Sr, Bob Connel, and Tom Chapin were my teachers at some point in the school.pearson913's station
