New Age, Classical, Electronic, and Progressive Rock combine to form some of the most successful tunes on the internet. Several songs hit #1 on mp3.com, including "Lockup" which stayed at #1 on the Progressive Rock chart for 20 weeks. The QCC song "The Calling Spirit" is the featured music in the August, 2001 film "Ghost Hunters." QCC is the solo project of member Fred Wheeler. In QCC Fred plays all instruments, and brings in some friends on a few special songs. 2 CDs were released in 2000, and a special remastered comibination CD was released in 2001. "nebulae" was released in August, 2004, containing a collection of 20 songs: some new, some previously unreleased, some remastered previously released. A new project is in the works, and is scheduled for release in late 2005. New song "Questions", a collaboration with producer/engineer/recording artist REMO, was released April 12, 2005.
Band/artist history
- began writing this music while writing and recording music with StrangeCloud. Initially represented songs that didn't quite go with the direction StrangeCloud was heading. - Worked on new material, recording, during breaks from StrangeCloud recording sessions and live performances. - Released in January and it immediately hit the top of the selling charts on mp3.com, along with several songs hitting #1 in various genres. Released the followup CD in late May. More success and acclaim. - The song used as the theme music for independent film . Remixed and remastered many songs and released them on a new CD simply called . - writing new songs - released , a 20 song collection of old and new music. - released the song , a collaboration with REMO.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not much QCC has been performed live. I have performed as a part of relentlessly in the past few years, and as part of two other bands since the 1970's.
