Purple Haze Production consists of one producer, 'Purple-Haze' - thats me. I produce deep, emotional hip hop, and also produce UK garage under another name. My beats take a long time to make, as i find it very important to build very strong senses of emotion in my beats. No real history to myself. Been a DJ for years. Been in a UK Garage crew called the "Knockout Squad" and have made a few tracks. Been producin for quite a while, really startin to feel my own ish now. Its so important for me to include a very strong imagery of emotion in all of my beats, which has, and continues to be a very hard thing to master. Bit of a perfectionist which is annoying, cos nothin eva gets completed....Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live at MANY different clubs in the UK, too many to mention. Many in Leicester Square, Camden Palace, Old street etc. But now i have given my DJing a rest for a bit, to sit back and hit some production, so i can give something back to the industry that has raised me over the last 6yrs....
Your musical influences
Well, production wise, it has to be Todd Edwards, and the other usual ones like timbo and nerd. I love daft punk too. I also like eminem, think even tho he has come down such a commercial route, he is still a literary genius. Also others like - NAS, 50 cent, D12, jay-z etc.... The list is endless....What equipment do you use?

All my beats on this site are for sale ranging from around 200$-400$ per beat, including full rights and samples. I also lease beats for between 100$-150$ which will allow only one use of the beat, to which i will still own full rights too. i also produce custom beats for clients, after detailed consultations, so that your beat, is perfect for any ideas, lyrics or melodies u may have been thinking of.
