Purify
Purify is a Swedish trance-duo consisting of two guys, Per Lindström and Daniel Rosquist. The project was founded in the end of year 2002.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In 1998 Daniel started his project qwerty, he worked
with Rebirth and some trackers to make some crappy
tunes. By the time he though it was good but it sounded
really bad if you listen to it nowadays. He changed
name to hypnotica when he got a new sound. The time
went on and Propellerheads released their beuty Reason.
This was a big step for Daniel as he now had much
bigger opportunities. A first track was made, called
quite simply Reason. It wasnt good but a lot better
than the old songs. After a few tunes when the music
got better Trancelab was born. He struggled on.
How did Daniel and Per meet then, well it all started
with that Per was working on his project XXXXXXX
togehter with dj@sker. At the time Per was working in
FruityLoops with a track called Different World. They
got stuck so Daniel started working on it and finished
it. After that they were talking about producing every
other day. And in the late 2002 Per came up with a
track he was working on called Dreaming and showed it
to Daniel. He was amazed and they decided to work on it
togehter. After some time it was finished, they were
both very satisfied so they decided to start working
permanently together. Purify was born.
