Band/artist history

Public Unrest is a ministry group from Vallejo California with a mission to spread God's word throughout the nation. The ministry is based upon the Bible verse found in 1 Corinthians 1:7. We were called to make a ministry out of what we have and this group was made for that purpose. Although we play punk music, we do not support the belief of "punk" for there are many things that we do not agree with in that certain idea. We believe that God is a God of order and punk is rebellion against all authority and complete destruction over everything. That is why we do not approve of that belief. 
     Now this doesn't mean that Christian punk is an oxymoron. God sent his son Jesus Christ down to Earth as a human being to die for all of our sins. In comparison, we used the style of music that the band was formerly brought up with from youth to reach the un-reached areas of our cities just as Jesus did before He was crucified. 
     However, our ministry does not stop there. We also do church related ministries such as, VBS for the kids, Mission Trips, and Operation Christmas Child. We do not limit our abilities to one particular area but we do as much as we can to help and support other ministries.  We are not here to promote the name "Public Unrest" but to lift up the name of Jesus Christ for He is our Savior and our Master.  We are not militant Christians. Therefore, we do not force people to believe the things we preach or do; but we do ask everyone to take it in consideration because it is something that SHOULD be taken very seriously.  We love Jesus with all of our hearts and we will follow Him and Him only!  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email us!
