Hey man, I change the title to my songs and pictures, sometimes more than once. A good title I think does affect the listener because it gives them a forecast of the mood or subject. If you want the titles to be transparent, without direction, make up words that dont mean anything. And if they remember the songs in the first place, well there you go.

Eh, I agree with cyrxi, to a point. Song titles, and even genre names (IDM, Trance, Dance, etc.) are far less important than the music. A "bad" title won't destroy a good song any more than a "good" title will save a bad song - and it's all subjective anyway. Name the songs what YOU want to call them, whatever has meaning for YOU. The music will speak for itself and (hopefully) succeed on its own merits. BTW, I like the title "After the Ice", but I agree that calling something "Dance Song (1)" is kinda lame - again, totally subjective. Really enjoyed most of these songs, but I wish there was a more nuanced scale than "hit" or "flop". I'd rate most somewhere between 7-9, with a couple 10s and a couple 4s. "Heart for Wat" was great except I'd pare down how many times you sample in Art of War quotes, and I dislike anagram titles - too cutesy. :-P Maybe retitle it "Baltimore Ronin". LOL Anyway, most of the songs are great, and all your work here is pretty solid, so do what you

Hey man, stick to your original titles. Let the comments/genre information explain anything people need to know. There's no need to make your titles more user-friendly. I mean "Watching Too Much Hip Hop" sounds cooler and more fitting IMO than "After the Ice". And "Dance Song (1)" just sounds lame :P

So... I guess I'll address the title change thing here too in case people check the message boards and maybe not the song info. Dance Song (1) Original Title: 'Maybe It'll Be Different This Time'. I still like the song very much, otherwise it wouldn't be up. Just wanted to make sure people had an idea of my definitions.
