Psyferpunk is an Industrial/Goth Rock music project in the process of producing its first full-length album. Much of it is slightly experimental.Your musical influences
Though in the past music I've played has been mainly guitar driven (mostly 80s metal, similar to bands like Iron Maiden), for this project I decided to focus primarily on composition; less on one instrument and more on the sound of the music as a whole. I've also brought in a strong electronic influence.
Interestingly, I think video games have influenced the music quite a bit as well. Go back an listen to the soundtracks to "Doom", "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "Halflife". Seriously.What equipment do you use?
A Jackson RR-1 and RR-1T and Gibson Les Paul for guitars, with a Line 6 POD 2.0 for amplification simulation. I have several pieces of synthesizer software (mostly based on the TS404). And some crappy little keyboard, too.
