Psychosis (US)
Psychosis. Insanity. Old School Metal. When you hear Psychosis, you instantly are transported back to the days of true Black Metal when Mercyful Fate was playing in clubs. We play original music and laugh at the MTV generation.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been around since early 2000.
Released first album, "Banned In Afghanistan" in 2001.
Released live album, "Dead Psycho Society" in 2003.
Took a break between 2004 & late 2005.
Michael Griffey released the album, "Books of Blood" in 2006. As the only original artist left in Psychosis, he performed most of the music himself and contracted some guitar work to other artists.
Since then, have been working on next album titled, "The Heart of The Devil" and planning to play shows throughout Summer/Fall 2009 to coincide with the release.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we play live anywhere we can. I love touring and being on the road...all the different beautiful chubby girls...
