Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band Prvni hore (The First sorrow) continues the tradition of Czech alternative music of the 1990s. With its inexhaustible energy, rough guitars, electronic samples and wild rhytms, however, it finds new, up-to-date ways of this musical style. The band are well known for their furious performances but on the new album Commedia dellarte they also present the dark and lyrical part of their production - tinged with the timbre of the accordion and supplemented with poetic lyrics. Prvni hore started already in 1998 and published the album Na upati (At the Foot) in 2003 but it is only the record Commedia dellarte that shows fully what a remarkable and promising ensemble they are.
