Promisqes is a female fronted Death Metal band with a man in the rear.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Promisqes was formed in 1995 by Lori Medcalf and Jeanette Smith. They recorded a five song demo which was never released. In January 1997 they recruited Dena Turk from Arizona. In September 1997 they recorded and released their first album "Monarchy Of Evil", and also appeared on the S.I.S. Records compilation. In November 1997 opened for their first national act Deicide. 1998 played their first Milwaukee Metelfest and 2 months later opened for Cannibal corpse, Angel Corpse, System Of A Down, Deicide, Death, and Hammerfall. Promisqes appeared on the Milwaukee Metal Fest Compilation and the Texas Death Fest Compilation. Then played at the Novemeber to Dismember metal fest. In 2000 released their 2nd album Gehenna. In October opened for Monstrosity, Dimmu Borgir, Samael, Flosam and Jetsom. Then went on a 3 week tour on the west coast as an opening act for the band Corpse Vomit also appearing at the November to Dismember San Bernandino Metalfest in California. Then 2001 went on a 3 week midwest tour with Serabus as a opening and also apeared on the the Milwakee Metalfest again. 2001 with new members in the band they appeared on the Snakenet. Metal radio metalfest in North Carolina and the Colorado Metalfest in Junction Colorado. Promisqes Has Played hundreds of shows and has sold over 40,000 albums and 30,000 shirts world wide. They have been featured in many major magazines, radio stations, t.v. interviews and many internet sites. Promisqes is getting ready to record album number 3.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes,of course we play live. And we love every second of it. As for right now. We are working on all new material, the album titled "PURGATORY" and hopefully will be out this coming fall.

As the drummer I would haft 2 say anyone from Hank Williams, 2 Deicide, 2 chicken pock, I mean 2 pac......etc...

Jeremy uses Pearl ,Gibralter,Sabian,Zildjian,Pro Mark etc. Lori uses E.S.P. Alesis ,Peavy ,Mesa Boogie,Digitech processing etc.
