Prolix

record label and media production company.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in 1974. Prolix are also the inventors of the musical genre of Frankensteinian Funk (according to Bass Player magazine). Prolix consists of nearly 2 dozen members who write and record all songs in their individual eclectic ways. Most songs feature a mix of searing lead guitar, funky bass, fuzzy organ, dynamic male vocals, bone-rattling drumbeats, trembling Tuvan Throat Singing, bastardizing bagpipes, boom boom boom boom beatbox, xyclon zube tube, spoons, spacious synthesizers, and Didgeridoo. Imagine stomping flat-footed through a mud puddle, and you have part of the Frankensteinian Funk of Prolix.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
