Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Sicatrix. The band, the myth, the legend - of our own style. Formed in Juneau, AK in the late part of 2000 by juniors Ben Polson and Jesse Searls, they combined many types of music into their own songs. Typically, they like to combine punk or funk with the heaviness of metal, but they always give it a Sicatrix flavor to keep it unique. Around October of 2000, they recruited Evan Manly to play drums for them. Currently, the band has 20+ songs completed, and have just finished a 3 song demo, which was recorded at the Gold Street Studio in downtown Juneau.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. We've played several places in Juneau. The gig at the Sandy Beach was pretty badass!
